French Quarter Festival

If you like the idea of abundance of music, outstanding food and mostly good weather, you should consider attending the French Quarter Festival in April. The variety and choices of music are astounding. This festival is completely free! They produce this through sponsors and by encouraging visitors to purchase food from the many local vendors who set up tents. Here is an example of all the different stages to choose from playing different kinds of music:
This group of musicians is knowns as the Jackson Square All Stars. The members are from different groups and join together to perform regularly in New Orleans.

The Pie Wagon.  Normally, you don't have to travel long distances to discover interesting places as evidenced by our trip to the Belle Meade Plantation. It's a good thing that this wagon doesn't come by my house regularly.
